Clarinet Tuition with Mervyn Bedford

Mervyn has a few vacancies for clarinet tuition.

He is happy to teach adults or children and

welcomes complete beginners.

Mervyn is known for his ability to communicate

creatively and to provide a fun enabling environment

in which to learn. He is able to prepare students for

exams as well as providing a thorough grounding in

music theory.

Mervyn passed his Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music Grade 8 Clarinet exam with merit and enjoys performing at local concerts and charity events.

Learning a musical instrument can be quite a lonely experience, we are hoping to establish a woodwind ensemble in Exeter for beginners and early grades in order to encourage those who do not usually get a chance to play and perform with others until they are much further on. This will provide a great opportunity for those learning a woodwind instrument to really develop their musicianship in conjunction with their weekly lessons and to have a lot of fun playing with others.
