The Cycle of Seasons - Music and Movement Classes for Children

aged 18 months to 5 years

Classes are frequently described by parents as the "high point" of the week! Children thrive and grow in a 'doing' environment and each session provides an inspirational, intoxicating musical experience that nurtures the whole child through all the senses.

Each session lasts for approximately 40 minutes and includes:

Lots of Singing Focused Listening Movement Activities Playing Musical Instruments

Core themes are taken from nature and each session is structured around developmentally appropriate lesson plans that address a child's basic need for Movement, Sensory Motor Experience, Language and Interesting Activites.

Parents stay throughout and participate in the activities with their child.

The benefits of holistic music and movement education in the early years are incalculable. Research shows that the earlier a child is in an environment of holistic music making, the more likely the inborn musicality will be awakened and developed. That inate aptitude for music diminishes if it is not activiated in early childhood.
