A three day course is an
extremely worthwhile investment that will revolutionize your
music sessions. You may be an experienced teacher looking
to recharge your batteries, gather some new ideas and explore
a new approach, or perhaps, you are someone who lacks confidence
in their musical ability and is exploring early years music
for the first time. Wherever you are coming from, this course
can provide a positive and valuable experience that will benefit
all early years practitioners.
A three day course enables
delegates to really cement the concepts that have been explored
through confidence-building sessions and constructive practise
teaching.
Over the three days we aim to:
Structure and plan
music sessions that will nurture the whole child through
all the senses.
Explore the benefits
of early years music through developmentally appropriate
activities.
Present successful
teaching that will hold the childs attention.
Demonstrate effective,
appropriate resources and explore use of instruments
Here are some comments
from previous courses:
" We thought
it was absolutely fantastic - very enjoyable!" Going
Places Day Nursery, plymouth.
" Each day
was packed full of inspiration and new ideas!" Willow
Lodge Montessori School.
" We certainly
feel that our creative buttons have been recharged!"
Sue Burn, Dorchester.
Three day courses are usually
held in Exeter (our local city), but can also be convened
elsewhere if there is sufficient interest. Exeter is a delightful
'rural' city and makes for an enjoyable stay. We usually plan
a group dinner at a local restaurant on the second evening
for delegates who wish to join us. We are able to send details
of nearby accomodation and a city guide should you require
it.
